The reconciliation of payment summaries for 2008-09 has been very successful. The error margin was very low and a great outcome considering the size of the payroll. It was impressive to have all errors quickly remedied by your team and us. Our staff had an excellent grasp of the whole process.

 

The dedicated Finance Team was outstanding at verifying all the individual summaries and reconciling the total results to the general ledger and through this process have now identified the additional controls that are required to identify discrepancies on a monthly basis. As a result we expect the reconciliation process next year to be very smooth.

 

We are also impressed that your software has allowed us to lodge the PAYG withholding annual reports to the ATO via ECI which we already use for BAS lodgement.

The manager checks these validated timesheets with the timekeeper on Monday morning and emails our head office in Forbes to inform us the pays are good to go. The payroll officer then synchronises the stores’ timesheets with head office through a VPN (broadband connection) and runs the payroll. The payslips are then sent back (through synchronisation) to the stores for printing.”
