What’s included in each plan and what is an add-on?

All ClockOn plans include the core workforce management and payroll features needed to run your business:

  • Employee profiles and work history

  • Leave requests and approvals

  • Online timesheets and attendance

  • Award interpretation (overtime, penalties, allowances)

  • Payroll processing

  • STP Phase 2 reporting

These are not optional and are included by default, no matter which plan you choose.

Add-ons are optional tools that enhance how you operate day-to-day.
They help with automation, visibility, or integrating ClockOn with other platforms:

  • Rostering (included in Pro, optional in Starter/Standard)

  • On-Site Kiosk for fixed terminal clock-ins

  • Xero or MYOB payroll integrations

  • Local Australian phone support

You only pay for add-ons if you choose to use them.

How does per-employee pricing work?

Pricing scales with the number of active employees in your account. You only pay for staff who are enabled for the billing period and you can add or remove employees at any time.

Casuals, part-timers and full-timers all count the same which keeps your costs predictable.

There are no extra charges per timesheet, roster or payroll run.

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

No. ClockOn has no long-term lock-in contracts. You can choose month-to-month or annual billing, with annual plans offering a discounted rate.

If you decide to cancel, we require 30 days’ notice. Your software will remain active through the end of your current billing cycle, after which you will receive complimentary admin-only access for 30 days so you can view limited information and run any final reports.

How does onboarding and setup work?

Onboarding is guided and supported from the start. A step-by-step setup process inside ClockOn walks you through it all.

The support library includes detailed walkthroughs for payroll, STP, onboarding, rostering, leave and attendance so you always know what to do next.

You can complete the setup yourself or request the setup service from our implementation team.

 

Can I integrate ClockOn with Xero or MYOB?

Yes. ClockOn exports payroll information to Xero and MYOB using their supported import formats.

Timesheets, pay data and journal information can be transferred cleanly without retyping which reduces manual entry and ensures your payroll and accounting records stay aligned.

Can I add or remove modules later as my business grows?

Yes. ClockOn is designed to scale with your business.

You can start with the essentials and add attendance options or additional services whenever you need them.

If circumstances change, modules can be removed and future billing will adjust automatically based on your active headcount.

Is my payroll and employee data secure and ATO-compliant?

ClockOn is hosted in Australia with all data stored locally. Information is encrypted in transit and protected with secure authentication.

The platform maintains audit trails for payroll and attendance changes and supports fully compliant STP Phase 2 submissions to the ATO. Backup and redundancy systems help safeguard your data and reduce risk.

Can I add ClockOn’s HR tools to my subscription?

Yes. You can add ClockOn HR to your service at any time. The HR module helps you manage employee records, onboarding, WHS, visa checks, superannuation details, and EEO reporting.

All features are managed within the same system, giving you a centralised way to handle compliance and employee data.
